Are robots good or not?
In reading passage: a "positive" thinking
- No emotional or effect
- Recognizing system
- Lower cost than human labors
In listening dialogue: a "negtive" opinon
- Robots can only work in a perfect environment,and they might spend a long time finishing their tasks.
- Robots cannot be our friends since they are just a computer on wheel.
- Even though robots could act as a real person,many people would not acceptthem since people are not readiy to handle machines with artifitial intelligence.
In the listening passage,the professor disagree the point that robot's development will benefit human beings' life.He support this opinion by three reasons.I will mention all of them in next paragraphs.
First of all,he thinks the robots is just the expensive toy of the rich guy,and they can only work in a perfect place.Any enviromental trouble will cut off their working efficiency,such as the stairs or furniture.This point against the the point of reading passage that human can count on robots to help them finishing their house work.
Secondly,The robots could not be our friend because they are just the computer on the wheel.Human beings can use their langruage and body symbols to express their emotion and ideas,machines cann't do that.
Finally,robots will not be a human.We ,human,have lots of emotions such as love,friendship and angry,and moreover have many values,for instant the brave , justice and honor.Basing on all of those value and emotinos,we are quite different with robots and they are also the reason that help us communicated.
To sum all this up,the speaker think that the robots would not be a fashion in the future.
